POLISH TITLE: OCALENI
Five years ago the roof of an exhibition hall at the Katowice International Fair collapsed during an exhibition of racing pigeons. Out of the total number of 700 visitors and exhibitors, 65 people were killed and 150 people were injured. It was one of the biggest construction disasters in Poland. Now, the tragic events may be revisited thanks to the survivors’ accounts. Their shocking stories make us realize that they will never be able to blot this hellish experience out of their memories.

born in 1961 in Krakow. A graduate of the Faculty of Directing at the Lodz Film School. Head of the documentary section of the TVN station, producer of the TVN History channel.
