Film editor, pro­fes­sional pho­to­grapher and dir­ector. “Benek Blues”, the film with which she made her debut as a dir­ector, was awar­ded the two most pres­ti­gi­ous prizes at the Cra­cow Fest­ival: Grand Prix – the Golden Dragon and Golden Hobby-​Horse, and prizes in Leipzig, Neub­randem­burg and in Taiwan. For many years she worked for the Doc­u­ment­ary Film Stu­dio in Warsaw and edited most films by Mar­cel Łoz­iński: (“Próba mik­rofonu” /​“The micro­phon test”, “89 mm od Europy” /​“89 mm from Europe”, “Wszys­tko może się przytrafić” /​“Everything is pos­sible”, “Pam­iętam” /​“I remem­ber”), and also “Przesłuch­anie” /​“Inter­rog­a­tion” by Rysz­ard Bugajski, “Robot­nicy 80″ /​“Work­ers 80″ by Andrzej Chodakowski and Andrzej Zajączkowski, “Wół” /​“An Ox” by Józefa Cyr­usa and many other import­ant doc­u­ment­ary films. She has been a mem­ber of the Asso­ci­ation of Pol­ish Pho­to­graph­ers since 1979.
